PDF Text editor changes (#5726)
# Description of Changes
- Reduced lightweight editor JSON size:
- Omit heavy page resources and contentStreams in lazy/lightweight
flows.
- Omit form fields in lazy metadata/editor bootstrapping flows.
- Strip inline font program blobs from lazy initial payloads.
- Added page-based font loading:
- New endpoint to fetch fonts for a specific cached page:
GET /api/v1/convert/pdf/text-editor/fonts/{jobId}/{pageNumber}
- Frontend now loads page fonts alongside page data and merges into
local doc state.
- Reduced save payload duplication:
- Partial export now sends only changed pages (no repeated full-document
font/metadata payload each save).
- Preserved round-trip/export safety:
- Missing lightweight fields (resources/contentStreams) are interpreted
as “preserve existing from cached PDF.”
- Annotation semantics fixed so explicit empty annotation lists can
clear annotations.
- Fixed a regression where lazy mode could fall back to full export and
lose overlays; lazy now stays on cached
partial export path when dirty pages exist.
- Logging/noise reduction
- Transport optimization:
- Enabled HTTP compression for JSON/problem responses. (might remove
later tho in testing)
### Outcome
- Much smaller JSON payloads for giant PDFs.
- Fewer duplicated bytes over the wire.
- Page-scoped loading of heavy font data.
- Better reliability for preserving overlays/vector/background content
during export.

Fix maxFileSize environment variable support (#5542) (#5655)
## Description Fixes #5542 This PR adds support for environment variables to configure the file upload limit, which was previously ignored. ## Changes - **Added support for `SYSTEMFILEUPLOADLIMIT` environment variable**: Accepts format like "100MB", "1GB", etc. - **Added support for `SYSTEM_MAXFILESIZE` environment variable**: Accepts number in MB (e.g., "100" for 100MB) - **Initialize `fileUploadLimit` from environment variables**: Added `@PostConstruct` method in `ApplicationProperties` to read env vars and set `fileUploadLimit` if not already set in settings.yml - **Created `MultipartConfiguration`**: New configuration class that syncs Spring multipart settings with `fileUploadLimit` from settings.yml or environment variables - **Updated `application.properties`**: Added documentation about environment variable support ## How it works 1. On startup, `ApplicationProperties.initializeFileUploadLimitFromEnv()` checks for `SYSTEMFILEUPLOADLIMIT` or `SYSTEM_MAXFILESIZE` environment variables 2. If found and `fileUploadLimit` is not set in settings.yml, it sets the value 3. `MultipartConfiguration` reads the `fileUploadLimit` via `UploadLimitService` and configures Spring multipart settings accordingly 4. Users can also still use `SPRING_SERVLET_MULTIPART_MAX_FILE_SIZE` and `SPRING_SERVLET_MULTIPART_MAX_REQUEST_SIZE` directly ## Testing Set environment variables: - `SYSTEMFILEUPLOADLIMIT=10MB` or - `SYSTEM_MAXFILESIZE=10` The `fileUploadLimit` in settings.yml should be populated and multipart limits should be respected. |

Fix ClassCastException in extractBookmarks endpoint (#5578) (#5604)
## Description Fixes #5578 This PR fixes a `ClassCastException` that occurs when calling `/api/v1/general/extract-bookmarks`. The method was returning `List<Map<String, Object>>` directly, but Spring MVC was wrapping it in a `ResponseEntity`, causing a type mismatch. ## Changes - Changed return type from `List<Map<String, Object>>` to `ResponseEntity<List<Map<String, Object>>>` - Wrapped return values with `ResponseEntity.ok(...)` to match Spring MVC pattern - Removed `@ResponseBody` annotation as it is not needed with `ResponseEntity` ## Verification This fix follows the same pattern used in other similar endpoints: - `VerifyPDFController.verifyPDF()` returns `ResponseEntity<List<PDFVerificationResult>>` - `ValidateSignatureController.validateSignature()` returns `ResponseEntity<List<SignatureValidationResult>>` ## Testing The endpoint should now return a proper JSON response with the list of bookmarks instead of throwing a 500 error. --------- Co-authored-by: GitTensor Miner <miner@gittensor.io> Co-authored-by: Anthony Stirling <77850077+Frooodle@users.noreply.github.com> |

Support multiple pipeline watch directories and configurable pipeline base path (#5545)
### Motivation - Allow operators to configure a pipeline base directory and multiple watched folders so the pipeline can monitor several directories and subdirectories concurrently. - Ensure scanning traverses subdirectories while skipping internal processing folders (e.g. `processing`) and preserve existing behavior for finished/output paths. - Expose the new options in the server `settings.yml.template` and the admin UI so paths can be edited from the web console. ### Description - Added new `pipelineDir` and `watchedFoldersDirs` fields to `ApplicationProperties.CustomPaths.Pipeline` and kept backward compatibility with `watchedFoldersDir` (app/common/src/main/java/stirling/software/common/model/ApplicationProperties.java). - Resolved pipeline base and multiple watched folder paths in `RuntimePathConfig` and exposed `getPipelineWatchedFoldersPaths()` (app/common/src/main/java/stirling/software/common/configuration/RuntimePathConfig.java). - Updated `FileMonitor` to accept and register multiple root paths instead of a single root (app/common/src/main/java/stirling/software/common/util/FileMonitor.java). - Updated `PipelineDirectoryProcessor` to iterate all configured watched roots and to walk subdirectories while ignoring `processing` dirs (app/core/src/main/java/stirling/software/SPDF/controller/api/pipeline/PipelineDirectoryProcessor.java). - Exposed the new settings in `settings.yml.template` and the admin UI, including a multi-line `Textarea` to edit `watchedFoldersDirs` (app/core/src/main/resources/settings.yml.template, frontend/src/proprietary/components/shared/config/configSections/AdminGeneralSection.tsx). - Adjusted unit test setup to account for list-based watched folders (app/common/src/test/java/stirling/software/common/util/FileMonitorTest.java). ### Testing - Ran formatting and build checks with `./gradlew spotlessApply` and `./gradlew build` using Java 21 via `JAVA_HOME=/root/.local/share/mise/installs/java/21.0.2 PATH=/root/.local/share/mise/installs/java/21.0.2/bin:$PATH ./gradlew ...`, but both runs failed due to Gradle plugin resolution being blocked in this environment (plugin portal/network 403), so full compilation/formatting could not complete. - Confirmed the code compiles locally was not possible here; unit test `FileMonitorTest` was updated to use the new API but was not executed due to the blocked build. - Changes were committed (`Support multiple pipeline watch directories`) and the repository diff contains the listed file modifications. ------ [Codex Task](https://chatgpt.com/codex/tasks/task_b_69741ecd17c883288d8085a63ccd66f4) |

feat(compliance): implement compliance verfication for get info on PDF (#5435)
# Description of Changes This PR replaces the legacy, fragile PDF/A validation logic (which relied on manual regex parsing and PDFBox Preflight) with the robust **VeraPDF** integration. Additionally, it introduces a new check for **SEC/EDGAR compliance** and refactors the frontend report view to display detailed verification results. ### Key Changes **Backend (`GetInfoOnPDF.java`):** * **VeraPDF Integration:** Replaced the custom `checkForStandard` and `validatePdfAWithPreflight` methods with `VeraPDFService.validatePDF()`. This aligns validation with industry standards. * **Code Cleanup:** Removed approximately ~200 lines of technical debt, including raw XML regex parsing and file-locking prone `PreflightParser` logic. * **SEC Compliance:** Added `isSECCompliant()` logic to validate documents against typical EDGAR requirements: * No Encryption. * No Active Content (JavaScript). * No External Links. * No Embedded Files. * No AcroForms. **Frontend (`GetPdfInfo`):** * **New Component:** Created `ComplianceSection.tsx` to handle the complexity of compliance reporting. * **Enhanced UI:** * Added visual badges (Passed/Failed/Not Detected) using `CheckIcon`/`CloseIcon`. * Added support for displaying the detailed VeraPDF summary alongside legacy boolean flags. * Improved handling of "Not PDF/A" states. ### Motivation The previous validation logic was prone to false positives/negatives and memory issues with large files (due to Preflight). Community PR that had a bug, kept original Commit for history with bug fixed, Merge dont squash merge # Description of Changes This PR fixes #5159 by allowing standard health check endpoints to be accessed without authentication, which is required for container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) liveness and readiness probes. Changes: 1. **Security Whitelist (RequestUriUtils):** Added `/actuator/health`, `/healthz`, `/liveness`, and `/readiness` to the public whitelist to prevent 401 Unauthorized. 2. **Enterprise Filter (EnterpriseEndpointFilter):** Added an exception for health endpoints. Previously, this filter was aggressively blocking all /actuator/ requests for non-Pro users, returning 404 Not Found even if the security config was correct. **Testing:** Verified locally. **Before:** `curl http://localhost:8080/actuator/health` returned `401 Unauthorized`. **After:** curl `http://localhost:8080/actuator/health` returns `200 OK` and `{"status":"UP"}`. fix(pipeline): avoid bad multipart by letting RestTemplate set boundary (#5522)

The frontend is updated to route SVG-to-PDF conversions through this new endpoint and to distinguish SVG from other image formats.
