feat(conversion): add SVG to PDF conversion functionality (#5431)
# Description of Changes This pull request introduces a new SVG to PDF conversion feature, including both backend and frontend changes. The backend adds a secure, vector-preserving SVG-to-PDF conversion endpoint with comprehensive SVG sanitization to prevent XSS and SSRF attacks. The frontend is updated to route SVG-to-PDF conversions through this new endpoint and to distinguish SVG from other image formats. fix(core): reinstall frontend dependencies when iconify package is missing (#5432)

Add Telegram bot integration for pipeline processing (#5185)

fails with `Unexpected token ... is not valid JSON` because certain API
endpoints returned plain text responses.

structured JSON objects instead of raw strings.
- Standardized success and error payloads using a `Map<String, Object>`
with keys like `message` and `error`.

- Changed `/api/v1/user/get-api-key` and `/api/v1/user/update-api-key`
to return JSON objects (`{ "apiKey": "..." }`) and JSON error objects
instead of plain text.
## Why the change was made
- The Tauri client expects JSON responses and attempts to parse them.
Returning plain strings like `"Successful..."` or an API key string
causes JSON parsing to fail, resulting in network errors on self-hosted
setups.

# Description of Changes Note on Simple Java Mail: - SJM contains Angus/Jakarta Mail in it. - SJM is a very thin layer on Angus Mail; see here: https://github.com/bbottema/simple-java-mail - SJM gives high level methods to more reliably parse in email via Angus Mail, but also contains lots of other interesting features. - SJM is Apache 2 licensed This pull request updates the email processing utilities to add support for parsing and validating Outlook MSG files, refactors the `EmlProcessingUtils` utility class to use instance methods and improved resource management, and enhances the handling and styling of generated email HTML. The changes also introduce external CSS resource loading with a fallback mechanism, and update dependencies to support MSG file parsing. **MSG file support and validation:** - Added `simple-java-mail` and `outlook-module` dependencies to enable EML and MSG file parsing, and updated validation logic to recognize and accept MSG files by checking their magic bytes. fix(verify-pdf): verification to properly detect non-PDF/A documents with XMP metadata (#5397)
# Description of Changes Fixed an issue where PDFs containing XMP metadata but lacking PDF/A identification schema were incorrectly being validated as PDF/A documents and reporting "PDF/A-1b with errors" instead of "NOT PDF/A". ### Changes Made - Improved the PDF/A detection logic in `VeraPDFService.java` to check for both missing XMP metadata and missing PDF/A identification schema - Added validation for clause 6.7.11 (PDF/A Identification extension schema requirement) in addition to clause 6.7.2 (XMP metadata presence) - Documents with XMP metadata but without proper PDF/A identification now correctly return "NOT PDF/A" ### Root Cause The previous implementation only checked for missing XMP metadata (clause 6.7.2) but didn't verify that the XMP contained the required PDF/A identification schema (clause 6.7.11). # Description of Changes ## OCR / Tesseract path handling Makes tessDataPath resolution deterministic with priority: config > TESSDATA_PREFIX env > default. Updates language discovery to use runtimePathConfig.getTessDataPath() instead of raw config value. Ensure default OCR dir is debian based not alpine ## Mobile scanner: feature gating + new conversion settings Adds system.mobileScannerSettings (convert-to-PDF + resolution + page format + stretch) exposed via backend config and configurable in the proprietary admin UI. Enforces enableMobileScanner on the MobileScannerController endpoints (403 when disabled). Frontend mobile upload flow can now optionally convert received images to PDF (pdf-lib + canvas). ## Desktop/Tauri connectivity work Expands tauri-plugin-http permissions and enables dangerous-settings. fix(conversion): improve PDF/A conversion quality, color accuracy, and compliance (#5396)
# Description of Changes
* Transparency Fix: Implemented a pre-processing step that adds an
opaque white background to pages before conversion. This ensures that
transparent elements are correctly
flattened against white rather than defaulting to black (a common issue
in Ghostscript flattening).
* Color Distortion Fix: Removed a misconfigured -sDefaultCMYKProfile
setting in the Ghostscript command that was incorrectly pointing to an
RGB profile. This resolves the
"dark/black" color corruption previously seen in print-ready CMYK PDFs.
* PDF/A Compliance Improvements:
* Font Handling: Updated fixType1FontCharSet to only add a standard
CharSet if it is missing or empty. This prevents validation errors where
subsetted fonts were being forced
to declare glyphs they did not contain.
* Spot Color Unification: Added fixSeparationColorSpaces to detect and
unify TintTransform objects for Separation colors with the same colorant
name, ensuring consistency
across document resources.
* OCG Naming: Ensured all Optional Content Groups have a valid Name
entry.

refactor(pdf): improve resource management, memory usage, and exception safety across controllers and utilities (#5379)
# Description of Changes This PR fixes resource leaks and memory issues in PDF processing by implementing proper resource management patterns throughout the codebase. ## Key Changes ### Resource Leak Prevention All PDDocument and PDPageContentStream objects now use try-with-resources to ensure proper cleanup. Previously, resources could remain open if exceptions occurred, leading to file handle exhaustion and memory leaks. ### Memory Optimization Added `setSubsamplingAllowed(true)` to all PDFRenderer instances. This reduces memory consumption by 50-75% during PDF-to-image operations and prevents OutOfMemoryError on large files. **Affected**: OCRController, CropController, FlattenController, FormUtils, and 6 other files ### Large File Handling Replaced in-memory processing with temp file approach for operations on large PDFs. # Description of Changes This pull request introduces major improvements to the PDF attachment API, adding new endpoints for listing, renaming, and deleting attachments in PDFs, as well as improving error handling and content negotiation. It also adds support for converting PDFs to PDF/A-3b format when adding attachments and introduces stricter validation for attachment uploads. Added an optional flag in settings.yml to hide the settings button in no login servers. Fix: SSO Login Page (#5220)
Users logging in via OAuth2 were redirected to Spring's default login
form instead of the React frontend login page. This happened because the
OAuth2 configuration used `.loginPage("/oauth2")` which pointed to the
old Thymeleaf template.

SSO login fix (#5167)
Fixes bug where SSO login with custom providers caused an `InvalidClientRegistrationIdException: Invalid Client Registration with Id: oidc` errors.
